GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

• In order to graduate you need to complete the following:

• Pass USMLE Step 1 - Must sit prior to starting 3rd year. Must pass prior to starting 4th year.

• Satisfactory completion of Clinical Foundations.

• 48 weeks of required coursework

• Satisfactory completion of Doctoring 3

• Satisfactory complete of Longitudinal Preceptorship

• Satisfactory completion of the Longitudinal Radiology clerkship

• Satisfactory completion of the Clinical Performance Examination (CPX)

• Satisfactory completion of College Foundations

• Passing United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Steps 2 CK and sitting for Step 2 CS.

• 30 WEEKS OF ELECTIVE COURSEWORK:
  • 21 weeks of elective coursework (100,200,300,400,600,700, & 800 level coursework)
  • 3 consecutive weeks of 300 level subinternship
  • 3 consecutive weeks of 400 level subinternship
  • 3 consecutive weeks of 300 or 400 level subinternship

• Satisfactory completion of College Requirements.

• Attend Scholarship Day on Friday March 21, 2008.  Everyone is required to attend.

• Complete the AAMC Graduation Questionnaire (GQ).  You will receive additional information regarding this item in February/March.

• Clean out your locker before May 2, 2008.  Contact Brandon Susselman (310) 206-0973 or bsusselman@mednet.ucla.edu if you don’t remember your locker number or combination.

• Return your pager to A7-180 and give the receipt to Buck Ritchey (in the SAO) before or by Friday May 23, 2008.
