Qi Gong Classes

FREE! Drop in! Open to students, faculty, and staff!

Qi Gong (pronounced chi kung) is an ancient self-healing art that uses movement, meditation, & breathing exercises to balance and enhance the body's natural healing resources.

Classes occur every Monday from 12pm to 1pm (excluding University holidays).

Location: Wilson Plaza lawn, just behind the Ashe Center.

Taiji Classes

FREE! Drop in! Open to students, faculty, and staff!

Taiji, an ancient art derived from Qi Gong, uses movement, meditation, & breathing exercises to balance and enhance the body's natural healing resources. In contrast to the discrete stances of Qi Gong, taiji forms are connected in a flowing sequence of slow, focused, meditative movements.

Classes occur every Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm (excluding University holidays).

Location: East exterior of Pauley Pavilion (near the flag pole).
