Symposium Description

The 1997 UCLA Health Care Symposium will address the methods of providing and measuring quality health care, the physicians' obligation to guarantee that quality of care, and the generation of the social and political skills necessary for physician leadership in advancing this quality care. By inviting prominent figures in the health care policy arena to engage in a series of lectures and discussions, we hope to educate and inspire members of the UCLA medical community to take active and informed roles in shaping the delivery of health care in the 21st century.

The Symposium will take place on Saturday, January 25 in the Sunset Village Commons on the UCLA campus. We expect an audience of approximately 350 southern California physicians-in-training.
