Financial Director Neelu Arora graduated from the University of Southern California with a dual degree in Biology and Social Sciences emphasizing in Economics in December 2000. She has a strong interest in the primary care specialties and is currently involved in research on ovarian cancer. She enjoys traveling, cooking, serving on the Medical Student Council, and co-chairing a variety of medical interest groups. _________________________________________

A native of the Bay Area, Mailan Cao graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. Her medical interests include primary care, oncology, or international health care and policy. Outside of medicine, Mailan enjoys gourmet cooking, drawing and painting, and gardening. _________________________________________

Hui Jenny Chen graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She has many interests in the field of medicine. However, she is fascinated w/ technological advancements and is currently doing research in interventional neuroradiology. In her spare time, she enjoys running, outdoors, programming, and reading. She created and maintains the HCS website. _________________________________________

Gregory graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry in 2001. He has additionally been in involved in educational and research experiences in Costa Rica, Argentina, and England. His main interests in medicine lie in emergency medicine and radiology. In his spare time Gregory enjoys backpacking, sailing, and other outdoor activities. _________________________________________

Graduating with a physiology degree from UCLA, Mehran always knew he would be involved in healthcare. As a medical student he has developed his interests further, through chairing various interest groups, as president of the UCLA chapter of the AMA, as a summer fellow working with medical administration, or by serving on the medical school admissions committee. Mehran continues to work hard towards his goals and is currently pursuing the MD/MBA joint degree offered at UCLA. He hopes to continue in a specialty that allows him to utilize not only his medical skills, but also the administrative skills he hopes to gain through the MBA program. In his free time, he loves to travel exploring the world near and far. _________________________________________

Thu Ho graduated from Harvard University (go Leverett House!) in 2000 with a B.A. in the Biochemical Sciences. She loves to sing opera, Broadway, and R&B tunes, and she plays video games in her spare time. Her other interests include Japanese anime, ballroom dancing, belly dancing, and running. Thu does not yet know which field of medicine she will pursue, but currently, she is very involved with her research in pediatric oncology. _________________________________________ | ||
