Extraordinary discoveries, surgeries and medical procedures that are lauded in the news media and in medical journals frequently occur in the UCLA Medical Center. The Magic of Medicine is a new course offered to UCLA undergraduate students and seeks to introduce students to the cutting edge physicians and research scientists whose research and/or methods of treatment often shape the direction of medicine and health care.
