All financial aid disbursements (credit balance refunds) through the UCLA Billing and Receivables (BAR) system are available through Bruin Direct.

What is Bruin Direct? It is the electronic deposit of funds directly into pesonal bank account. Bruin Direct can be used with any checking or savings account in the United States. Bruin Direct may be more convenient for you since it can alleviate the need for you to come to campus and wait in line to get your refund check.

You should have received a letter from us which included an authorization form to enroll in Bruin Direct. If you are currently enrolled you need not complete an authorization form unless your banking information has changed. Bruin Direct remains in force until the University has received a signed letter or cancellation.

All students are required to have BruinDirect. A U.S. checking account is required. While your BruinDirect account is being setup, refunds will be mailed to the address you indicate on URSA.
