Description

Many fourth-year students interview for their residencies all over the country. It is often hard for them to link the interviews so that they can economize on the cost of trips. Most students borrow to pay for the travel to their interviews. Medical school can also be a very stressful time-- working long hours with little time off. When studens can get away, most are lacking the resourses to do so.

This session is intended to help students learn how to find deals on airfare, hotel, and local transportation. Two dynamic speakers, Rhonda Holguin and Kate Bernier, from Montrose Travel/Air4less/Sportours will give students and residents the inside scoop of airline pricing. The various types of airfare deals will be discussed, as well as, tips to saving money when buying an airline ticket and tips to finding the cheapest vacations and traveling on a limited budget.
