Medical students helping people in Mexico!  Click to see more about our Feb. trip with LIGA!

The People Helping People Organization is a group dedicated to providing a way for medical students to use their knowledge and skills to help people who are less fortunate and cannot afford health care.  We have set up many different types of volunteer opportunites in a variety of settings so that medical students can practice:
  • History taking
  • Physical diagnosis
  • Clinical assessment
  • Assisting in clinical procedures

With the thousands of people in Los Angeles who are unable to afford adequate health care, there is no lack of people to help.  Check out our new projects below and SIGN-UP to volunteer!

Current Projects:
All of the projects listed below have already been researched and organized.  Click on the name of the project you are interested in to find a complete description of the project, the volunteer opportunites available there, and contact information.  You can also directly sign-up by going to our SIGN-UP PAGE.
