Information for Faculty
2010 Hippocratic Oath Ceremony
Date: Friday June 4, 2010
Time: 3:30 PM - Faculty need to report to the Student Lounge, School of Law on the UCLA Campus.
5:00 PM -The Ceremony will begin
- All faculty need to be at the Student Lounge, School of Law no later than 3:30 PM in order to dress and prepare for the ceremony.
- Parking for HOC will be in Lot 2. Please note that there is a $10.00 fee for anyone not holding a UCLA Parking Permit.
- The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. During the ceremony each student will be hooded and receive a scroll of the Hippocratic Oath from Vice Chancellor and Dean A. Eugene Washington, M.D., MSc. The commencement address will be given by Gerald Levey, M.D., Dean Emeritus.
- A special reception for faculty, students and their families will be held in Schoenberg Quad immediately after the ceremony. All rented cap, gown and hoods should be returned at the reception to the representatives from Graduation Etc. who will set up a check-out station for this purpose.
